Dr. Fabiola H. Gerpott holds the Chair of Leadership at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a leading German business school located in Düsseldorf.
Fabiola graduated from a Double PhD program in 2017 with a PhD in Organizational Psychology (VU Amsterdam) and a PhD in Business Administration (Jacobs University Bremen). After working as an assistant professor in Amsterdam and Berlin, she became a tenured full professor in 2019. Fabiola is interested in studying contemporary challenges of leadership (e.g., diversity management, collaboration with AI, emergent leadership), interaction dynamics in organizations, and meta-science research. Her work has been published in leading academic outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. She currently serves as a Senior Associate Editor for The Leadership Quarterly and is also highly passionate about making her research accessible to practice. As such, she is a regular guest in podcasts, writes for practitioner-oriented journals, and has been recognized as a Top 40 HR Professional by a well-established German HR magazine.
Dr. Jost Sieweke is an Associate Professor of Strategic Leadership at the Department of Management & Organization at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is also the programme director of the Executive MBA: Leading with Purpose at the School of Business and Economics: Executive Education.
Jost received his PhD from the University of Duesseldorf (Germany) in 2012 with a thesis examining the contributions of Pierre Bourdieu’s concept of habitus to research in management and organization studies. He has been a visiting scholar in Vancouver (Canada) at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University (2015), and at the Stockholm School of Economics (2016).
Jost’s research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and The Leadership Quarterly. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Management Studies and The Leadership Quarterly.
Dr. Roman Briker is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior & HRM at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics, Department of Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. He obtained his Ph.D. (summa cum laude) in Organization and Human Resource Management from Justus-Liebig-University Giessen (Germany) in 2019. Before that, he was a visiting researcher at TCU (Fort Worth, Texas) and he studied psychology with a focus on Work, Organizational, and Social Psychology as well as Applied Cognition at the Universities of Giessen and Mainz (Germany).
Roman's research has received prestigious awards, including a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship from the European Union, Best Junior Researcher Award (UM), Open Science Award of Young European Research University Network (YERUN), Best Dissertation Award of Justus-Liebig-University, Best Paper in OB Award 2022 at the Academy of Management, Best Proposal in Leadership Research Award by The Johnson A. Edosomwan Leadership Institute (University of Miami), Best Reviewer Award (AOM 2023) and was supported by the European Union (EU), Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Center for Open Science (COS), and Justus-Liebig-University (JLU). His work has appeared or is forthcoming in leading outlets such as Organizational Research Methods, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, and Science Advances.
